A group of RMIT students are making the most of CERES' new community kitchen. They are the first cohort of RMIT work education program students to use the kitchen, completed this year.
The kitchen is playing host to community initiatives, including cooking classes. RMIT work education coordinator Mandy Morrison said the program catered to students with learning difficulties or mild intellectual disabilities.
She said the community kitchen provided a realistic environment where students could practise their skills, then "enjoy the fruits of their labour".
