More than 100 industry representatives, including financiers, took part in an East-West link project briefing last week.
State Roads Minister Terry Mulder last week welcomed the group of national and overseas experts to the briefing.
"It's a sign of the interest in the East-West link that we have local, interstate and international industry representatives ready to talk with us about how best to plan, engineer, procure and fund this landmark project in the future," he said.
