What a bunch of knit wits at Brunswick North primary

BRUNSWICK North Primary School students have been knitting jumpers … for Coburg's bike racks.

The grade 3 and 4 students, including Charlotte, Arthur, Lillian and Kai, are taking part in yarnbombing project Wild and Woolly, a street-art installation knitted by community groups to be displayed at Coburg Mall.

Brunswick North Primary School artist in residence Sarah Metzner (pictured with fellow yarnbomber Anne Marie Holt) said the students were excited to have their art included in the public display.

The knitted street art will be on display this week and there will be a community yarnbombing workshop at the mall this Saturday (June 16) from 12pm to 2pm.
