Fun for all at RecLink grand final

14 Sep, 2010 02:34 PM
There aren’t many competitions in which every team plays the grand final. But there aren’t many leagues like RecLink. Last Wednesday Victoria Park hosted RecLink’s day of days, with eight teams playing off in a goodwill grand final.

Magpies legend Peter McKenna joined a host of celebrities including Ron Barassi, Andrew Gaze, Tim Watson, Ted Whitten jnr, Crackers Keenan, Smokey Dawson and Joffa from the Collingwood cheer squad to lend support and their voices to a broadcast by community station 97.7 3SER-FM.

RecLink national operations manager Trent Masenhelder said 240 participants and more than 1000 fans had flowed through the gates.
