IT'S like high school all over again. Planning Minister Matthew Guy has blocked Friends of the Earth campaigns co-ordinator Cam Walker from his Twitter account. Ouch. But why?
Would it have anything to do with the fact Walker has tried – repeatedly, for 14 months – to get a meeting with the minister to discuss some of his controversial decisions?
Guy’s comms team side-stepped the question when asked by MTW: ‘‘The minister meets on a daily basis with members of the community and will continue to do so, including environment groups.’’ Surely keeping the lines of communication open would be a good start?
