THE Home Cooked Comics Festival is on this Saturday, and Link McElvenny, from the band Squid Squad, is gearing up for the free celebration.
Squid Squad and Animaux will perform, plus there will be fight choreography, comic-making workshops and a comics quiz show.
At 6pm, guests can dress up as their favourite comic book character and take part in The Comic Parade.
The event is on January 28 from 3pm to 7pm at Batman Park, corner St Georges and Arthurton roads, Northcote. For more information, visit darebin.vic.gov.au
