22 Feb, 2012 08:30 AM
A 24-year-old learner rider has lost his motorbike for 30 days after police said they saw him travelling at 113km/h in a 60km/h zone in Fairfield last Wednesday.

Police observed the man speeding on Heidelberg Road just before 11am. They impounded his bike under state anti-hoon legislation.

Police expect to charge the man on summons with traffic-related offences.
