FORMER premiership coach Mick Malthouse was joined by St Joseph's Primary School to help launch The Smith Family's annual Christmas Appeal last week.
The kids recreated the classic Aussie backyard for the launch, with students writing their hopes for the future on "dream cards" that were clipped onto Hills Hoists.
A future free from poverty is what The Smith Family is trying to achieve.
